Since 2015, the Financial Market Authority has published the Bericht über die Lage der österreichischen Versicherungswirtschaft<\/strong> (Report on the State of the Austrian Insurance Industry<\/em> – available in German only).<\/p>

The report describes current developments, potential risks and implications arising from changes to the economic, legal and ecological environment in the Austrian insurance sector. Its central focus is the issue of how the structure of the Austrian insurance market, the development of business and investment behaviour of insurance undertakings changes in light of the many changes that can be observed in the external environment. Particular focus is also paid to cyberresilience and the integration of environmental, social and governance (ESG) factors into the business strategy of Austrian insurance undertakings.<\/p>
