State of the Austrian Insurance Industry<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>

<\/div>

The Report on the State of the Austrian Insurance Industry (Bericht über die Lage der österreichischen Versicherungswirtschaft<\/em> – available in German only) describe current developments, potential risks and implications arising from changes to the economic, legal and ecological environment in the Austrian insurance sector. The first report was published in 2015.<\/p>

The focus is on the identification and analysis of the relevant economic factors that have a significant influence on the structure of the Austrian insurance market, the business development and the investment behaviour of insurance companies, and thus also on supervisory activities. The impact of such external factors are investigated in light of developments both at European level as well as in OECD Member States respectively. Particular focus is also paid to cyberresilience and the integration of ESG risks into risk management.<\/p>
