{"id":8155,"date":"2016-04-05T18:58:17","date_gmt":"2016-04-05T16:58:17","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.fma.gv.at\/en\/?page_id=8155"},"modified":"2025-04-14T16:34:11","modified_gmt":"2025-04-14T14:34:11","slug":"official-signature-blip","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.fma.gv.at\/en\/official-signature-blip\/","title":{"rendered":"Official Signature"},"content":{"rendered":"<?xml encoding=\"utf-8\" ?><div class=\"wp-block-media-text alignwide is-stacked-on-mobile\" style=\"grid-template-columns:20% auto\"><figure class=\"wp-block-media-text__media\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"200\" height=\"200\" src=\"https:\/\/www.fma.gv.at\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/03\/Amtssignatur-FMA-Web-2.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-43794 size-full\"><\/figure><div class=\"wp-block-media-text__content\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The FMA uses the depicted blip for electronically signed documents.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Publication of the blip pursuant to Article&nbsp;19 para.&nbsp;3 e-Government Act (<abbr title=\"E-Government-Gesetz\">E-GovG<\/abbr> ).<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p><h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Verification of officially signed communications<\/strong><\/h2><p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Documents in electronic form <\/strong>(officially signed documents in written form) from the FMA can be verified using the verification code in the signature block of the document using the verification service at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.signaturpruefung.gv.at\/\" class=\"external\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">https:\/\/www.signaturpruefung.gv.at<\/a>.<\/p><p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For <strong>officially signed documetns in paper form<\/strong> the FMA offers the recipient of printed versions of officially signed documents the following possibilities for submission for checking of authenticity:<\/p><ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Submission of the scanned document via the FMA&rsquo;s electronic postbox using the Supplementary Register for Others registration number (<abbr title=\"Erg&auml;nzungsregister f&uuml;r sonstige Betroffene\">ERsB<\/abbr> -Ordnungsnummer) 9110020375710 or the designation &ldquo;Finanzmarktaufsichtsbeh&ouml;rde&rdquo;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Submission via the FMA&rsquo;s <a href=\"https:\/\/webhost.fma.gv.at\/MailRequests\/Home\/Index\/1\/de\">General Contact Form<\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Postal delivery to the FMA or personal delivery of the communication to the FMA&rsquo;s reception desk<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Delivery by fax to the FMA on +43 1 249 59 5499<\/li>\n<\/ul><p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Please ensure in the case of electronic submissions that that the document is submitted in a way that it is clearly readable.<\/p><p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The FMA&rsquo;s postal address is:<br>Finanzmarktaufsicht<br>Otto-Wagner-Platz 5<br>A-1090 Vienna<\/p><p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Case handlers check whether the document is a letter that they have issued, and in the case that positive verification occurs will respond to the enquiry by means of a communication in written form, stating: &ldquo;<strong>Das von Ihnen vorgelegte Dokument stammt von der FMA und ist inhaltlich unver&auml;ndert.<\/strong>&rdquo; (<em>The document you have submitted originates from the FMA and its content has not been modified<\/em>). In the case of a negative verification the following response will be used: &ldquo;<strong>Das von Ihnen vorgelegte Dokument konnte von der FMA nicht verifiziert werden<\/strong>.<em>&ldquo;<\/em> (<em>&ldquo;The document that you submitted was not able to be verified by the FMA&rdquo;<\/em>).<\/p><p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Regarding the time period to conduct such a review, the FMA ensures that the procedure is completed within 1-2 weeks (maximum).<\/p><p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>This enquiry regarding the regarding the verification of authenticity of a document does not have any influence on the deadlines set by the FMA or the appeal periods.<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The FMA uses the depicted blip for electronically signed documents.
