In this context, the funding gap is analysed in a first step, and a separate <a href=\"https:\/\/www.eiopa.europa.eu\/tools-and-data\/dashboard-insurance-protection-gap-natural-catastrophes_en\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" class=\"external\">risk map<\/a> drawn up regarding the protection gap on climate related risks at European level. The Austrian Financial Market Authority (FMA) therefore not only focusses its attention on increasing insurance penetration.
