It seems straightforward &ndash; but there are lot of details in placing a securities order to consider that can make a real difference. The choice of trading venue or the decision about placing a market order or a limit order can influence the result. Fees or the validity period of the order are factors that first-time trades should not underestimate.<\/p><p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A current analysis by the Austrian Financial Market Authority (FMA) about various age groups&rsquo; investment behaviour shows that younger investors predominantly invest online and without investment advice (known as &ldquo;execution only&rdquo;). The new edition of &ldquo;Let&rsquo;s talk about money&rdquo; focuses on this target group. It contains seven steps for guiding through the entire process: from selecting the right securities, choosing a trading venue, the issue of whether to place a market order or a limit order, through to determining a validity period for the order. Following this approach with help you to avoid stumbling when buying shares for the first time.<\/p><p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The latest edition of &ldquo;Let&rsquo;s talk about money&rdquo; on &ldquo;Buying shares for the first time&rdquo; was produced in cooperation with Wiener B&ouml;rse.
