Fees within the following ranges were determined as being market standard:<\/p><ul>\n<li>Investment firms usually bill between &euro; 150 and &euro; 300 per hour as an advisory fee or 0.5% to 1.5% of the invested assets per year. Performance-dependent remuneration stand at between 10% and 20% of the performance during a certain time frame.<\/li>\n<li>Issuers of financial products with a high risk usually pass on an entry charge of between 2.5% and 5.5% of the purchased volume; in the case of financial products with a medium risk there is a entry charge of between 2% and 5%; and in the case of products with a low risk the entry charge is between 1% and 5%.<\/li>\n<li>Custodian banks charge 0.1% to 0.5% of the invested assets per year; Fees and transaction charges are between 0.15% and 0.75% of the amount of the transaction.<\/li>\n<\/ul><p>&ldquo;The ranges of fees that are published by the FMA are intended to provide clients with some orientation when making use of investment services&rdquo;, commented the FMA&rsquo;s Executive Directors Helmut Ettl and Klaus Kumpfm&uuml;ller. &ldquo;Providers must also make their clients aware of this FMA publication.
