Dr. Braum&uuml;ller will therefore continue to hold this important function for a further four years, in times of particular challenges for EIOPA. In addition to the impact of the COVID-19 crisis on the insurance and occupational pensions sector, the coming years will especially be marked by the issues of the Solvency II Review, digitalisation, cyber risks, sustainability risks as well as the further strengthening of consumer protection.<\/p><p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">EIOPA is the competent European Supervisory Authority responsible for insurance and occupational pensions and has its headquarters in Frankfurt.
