Key points surrounding supervision activities in relation to Hypo Alpe Adria<\/h2>

The economic development and the decisions taken in recent years with regard to Hypo Alpe Adria have been the basis of much public discussion. In this context, the Financial Market Authority (FMA) and the Oesterreichische Nationalbank (OeNB) aim to make a statement about the facts, analysis and to provide a review of the events. Significant key points from the supervision activities of the FMA and the OeNB have therefore been listed in extract form and placed in an overall context in relation to the financial and subsequent economic crisis that broke out in 2007\/2008.<\/p>
