Following the geopolitical tensions that marked the start of the year, the easing of pressure on energy markets and the improved mood among investors supported the global stock markets, which Austria and Europe also benefiting. This is a finding from the Austrian Financial Market Authority&rsquo;s <strong>Quarterly Report for Asset Management<\/strong>.<\/p><p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">At the end of June 2026, the 2,110 investment funds managed by Austrian investment fund management companies (KAGs; Kapitalanlagegesellschaften) and fund managers <strong>managed assets<\/strong> of &euro;260.1 billion and therefore was down by 7.6% higher than the level at year-end 2025. In year-on-year comparison, assets up by 12%. During the 2nd quarter, the highest <strong>net inflows of funds<\/strong> was observed among bond funds of &euro;1.05 billion, followed by equity funds of &euro;242 million. Mixed funds displayed net outflows of &euro;301 million, while the trend seen in real estate funds in recent years continued, with new outflows of &euro;346 million.
