The main issues discussed were the countercyclical capital buffer, which remains unchanged at 0%, as well as sustainable lending standards for residential real estate loans. Its core task is to counteract threats to financial market stability. It issues recommendations to the Austrian Financial Market Authority (FMA) and risk warnings.
