The Austrian Financial Market Authority (FMA) hereby announces that it has imposed a fine of EUR 367,542.00 against Wiener Städtische Versicherung AG – Vienna Insurance Group by way of the accelerated conclusion of proceedings pursuant to Article 22 para. 2b of the Financial Market Authority Act (FMABG; Finanzmarktaufsichtsbehördengesetz) for omission of verification of the identity of the beneficial owner by means of evidential documents in the case of three high risk customers as well as for omitting to determine whether the trustors of one of the three high risk customers are politically exposed persons (PEPs). The penal order is final.<\/p>
