He will continue to deputise for the Chairman of EIOPA, Gabriel Bernardino, who has been reappointed for a further five years. Peter Braum&uuml;ller (56) trained as a lawyer and actuarial mathematician and has been Director of the FMA&rsquo;s Insurance and Pension Company Supervision Department since the FMA was established in 2002.<\/p><p>EIOPA is the competent European Supervisory Authority responsible for insurance and occupational pensions and has its headquarters in Frankfurt.
