Interested applicants are requested to <strong>submit applications by 23:59 CET on 18 March 2024.<\/strong><\/p><p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Relevant information about documents regarding your application can be found via the following links:<\/p><ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.esma.europa.eu\/press-news\/esma-news\/esma-seeking-new-members-its-securities-markets-stakeholder-group\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" class=\"external\">Link to the ESMA Press Release<\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.esma.europa.eu\/application_form_SMSG\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" class=\"external\">Link to the SMSG application form<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul><p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The final decision about the <abbr title=\"Securities and Markets Stakeholder Group\">SMSG<\/abbr> &rsquo;s composition is expected to be taken by <abbr title=\"European Securities and Markets Authority\">ESMA<\/abbr> &rsquo;s Board of Supervisors in May 2024. The four year term starts on 01 July 2024.<\/p><p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The <abbr title=\"Securities and Markets Stakeholder Group\">SMSG<\/abbr>  is an important body for <abbr title=\"European Securities and Markets Authority\">ESMA<\/abbr> . It facilitates consultation with stakeholders and provides technical advice on <abbr title=\"European Securities and Markets Authority\">ESMA<\/abbr> &rsquo;s policies and activities. Furthermore, it brings information on recent market developments to the authority&rsquo;s attention.<\/p><h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><abbr title=\"European Insurance and Occupational Pensions Authority\">EIOPA<\/abbr> <\/h2><p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><abbr title=\"European Insurance and Occupational Pensions Authority\">EIOPA<\/abbr>  is looking for new members for its Insurance and Reinsurance Stakeholder Group (IRSG) and the Occupational Pensions Stakeholder Group (OPSG). <strong>The deadline for applications is 23:59 CET on 25 March 2024.<\/strong><\/p><p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Relevant information about documents regarding your application can be found via the following links:<\/p><ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.eba.europa.eu\/publications-and-media\/press-releases\/eba-launches-call-expression-interest-its-new-banking-0\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" class=\"external\">Link to the EIOPA Press Release<\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.eiopa.europa.eu\/about\/governance-structure\/working-stakeholders\/selection-eiopas-next-stakeholder-groups_en\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" class=\"external\">Link to information about the application process<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul><p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The selection procedure will be concluded by the end of June 2024, prior to the new mandate beginning in July 2024.<\/p><p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><abbr title=\"European Insurance and Occupational Pensions Authority\">EIOPA<\/abbr>  makes use of stakeholder groups to receive feedback and to promote a structured approach for constructive cooperation with a broad spectrum of relevant stakeholders. Each group comprises of 30 members. The selection process takes into account a balanced geographical and gender-based representation as well as the diversity of the insurance, reinsurance and occupational pensions sector and stakeholder representation throughout the entire European Union.<\/p><h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><abbr title=\"European Banking Authority\">EBA<\/abbr> <\/h2><p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The European Banking Authority (EBA) has launched a call for applications for membership of its Banking Stakeholders Group (BSG). <strong>The deadline for applications is 23:59 CET on 27 March 2024.<\/strong><\/p><p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Relevant information about documents regarding your application can be found via the following links:<\/p><ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><a href=\"blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" class=\"external\">Link to the EBA Press Relea<\/a><a href=\"https:\/\/www.eba.europa.eu\/publications-and-media\/press-releases\/eba-launches-call-expression-interest-its-new-banking-0\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" class=\"external\">se<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul><p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><abbr title=\"European Banking Authority\">EBA<\/abbr> &rsquo;s Board of Supervisors will take a decision about the composition of the <abbr title=\"Banking Stakeholders Group\">BSG<\/abbr>  in June 2024. Applicants will be notified accordingly by the end of June 2024. The Board of Supervisors will also name candidates, who will be included in a reserve list. The first meeting of the <abbr title=\"Banking Stakeholders Group\">BSG<\/abbr>  in its new composition will take place on 16 July 2024.<\/p><p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Banking Stakeholders Group consists of 30 members. They include 13 members representing, in balanced proportions, financial institutions operating in the European Union of whom three of which are cooperative banks and savings banks.
