{"id":6612,"date":"2009-06-24T11:31:53","date_gmt":"2009-06-24T09:31:53","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.fma.gv.at\/en\/?p=6612"},"modified":"2016-06-16T11:32:17","modified_gmt":"2016-06-16T09:32:17","slug":"fma-prohibits-distribution-of-alpha-prime-fund-ltd","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.fma.gv.at\/en\/fma-prohibits-distribution-of-alpha-prime-fund-ltd\/","title":{"rendered":"FMA prohibits distribution of Alpha Prime Fund Ltd."},"content":{"rendered":"<?xml encoding=\"utf-8\" ?><p class=\"bodytext\">The Financial Market Authority (FMA) announces that, in accordance with Article&nbsp;31 para.&nbsp;2 no.&nbsp;2 of the<i>Investmentfondsgesetz<\/i> (InvFG; Investment Fund Act), Federal Law Gazette no.&nbsp;532\/1993 as amended, the following foreign fund has been prohibited to further distribute units in investment funds in Austria as from 22 June 2009, since it fails to meet the requirements of Article&nbsp;25 no.&nbsp;1 InvFG (nomination of a representative) and Article&nbsp;25 no.&nbsp;3 InvFG (nomination of a paying agent):<\/p><p class=\"bodytext\"><b>Alpha Prime Fund Ltd.<\/b><\/p><p class=\"bodytext\">Pursuant to Article&nbsp;31 para.&nbsp;2 InvFG, the FMA rules that the obligations connected with public distribution arising from this Federal Act will either end upon any possible winding-up proceedings having been concluded or at the time of a notice on distribution pursuant to Article&nbsp;30 InvFG having been properly given.<\/p><p class=\"bodytext\">\n<\/p><p class=\"bodytext\"><b>For further information please contact<br>\n<\/b>Klaus Grubelnik (FMA Media Spokesperson)<br>\n+43\/(0)1\/24959-5106<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Alpha Prime Fund Ltd.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":7,"featured_media":0,"comment_status":"closed","ping_status":"closed","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"inline_featured_image":false,"footnotes":""},"categories":[80],"tags":[],"class_list":["post-6612","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","hentry","category-press-release"],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v27.8 -
