He will therefore serve on the Board for two and a half years.<\/p><p>The Management Board is responsible for ensuring that ESMA fulfills the tasks assigned to it. Mr Kumpfm&uuml;ller&rsquo;s responsibilities will include budgeting, staffing and work programme. The Board consists of the ESMA Chairperson Steven Maijoor and six further members who are elected by the Board of Supervisors (BoS).
