ESG and Stress Testing

ESG and Stress Testing
Stress tests assess the risk bearing capacity of individual banks as well as the banking system as a whole. In this context, also based on the relevant legal bases, the effects of various aspects of climate- and environment-related risks on the resilience of credit institutions and the financial system have already been analysed on multiple occasions in recent years at both national and European level. The list below contains an overview of the analyses that have been conducted, on the one hand to make the results and potential effects transparent, and on the other hand to also provide an overview about the advances in methodologies used.
