The Financial Market Authority is responsible for supervising the Austrian capital market. This section contains information about the Financial Market Authority’s tasks in relation to the supervision of the Vienna Stock Exchange (Wiener Börse), of listed issuers, the members of the stock exchange and the market participants with regard to the order nature and fairness in trading in financial instruments as well as about the reports that these entities are required to submit to the Financial Market Authority.

In addition, this section also contains information about obligations arising from the European Market Infrastructure Regulation (EMIR), which also addressed entities in the real economy that also trade in derivatives.
