FMA-Fonds-Lupe

Comparing the costs, risks and key features of Austrian Retail Funds
The Fonds-Lupe is the Austrian Financial Market Authority’s (FMA) interactive information and transparency tool about Austrian Retail Funds. The tool gathers the features, costs, risk classifications and performance scenarios of funds and makes them accessible in a bundled, standardised and searchable form.
The data is obtained from Packaged Retail and Insurance-based Investment Products – Key Information Documents (PRIIPs-KIDs) prescribed under EU law, that require management companies to make uniform and comparable information available about their products. The individual key information documents are also publicly available. The Fonds-Lupe tool bundles the data from all Austrian retail funds, to present them in a uniform manner. The contents and calculations are conducted by the management companies rather than the FMA.
The Fonds-Lupe tool does not constitute any form of investment advice, investment proposal and recommendation to purchase fund units. It serves purely information purposes. It is not possible to buy or sell fund units using the tool. No registration is needed for using the Fonds-Lupe tool. An external monitor is recommended for an optimal viewing experience.
The FMA assumes no liability for the accuracy and completeness of the data extracted from the PRIIPs-KIDs. The data has been neither substantively checked nor approved in advance by the FMA.
The data used in the Fonds-Lupe are updated at least once a year, most recently on 31.12.2025. Funds that were newly established or renamed after the reference date are only considered following the next update.
In addition, the FMA publishes the “FMA Market Study on Fees charged by Austrian Retail Funds”, which contains aggregated key figures about the funds market broken down by investment strategy and risk category. The Fonds-Lupe tool makes this information accessible in an interactive manner at individual fund level.
