Bybit Payments GmbH (Commercial Register no. FN 636179h) with its registered office at Donau-City-Straße 7, 1220 Vienna, was granted a licence on 04.08.2026 as an electronic money institution pursuant to Article 3 para. 1 in conjunction with Article 4 para. 4 of the E-Money Act 2010 (E-Geldgesetz 2010). The company is therefore accordingly authorised to issue electronic money pursuant to Article 1 para. 2 E-GeldG 2010.
In addition, the company is also authorised in connection with this to provide the following payment services pursuant to Article 1 para. 2 of the Payment Services Act 2018 (ZaDiG 2018; Zahlungsdienstegesetz 2018):
- Article 1 para. 2 no. 1 ZaDiG 2018 (incoming payment business)
- Article 1 para. 2 no. 2 ZaDiG 2018 (outgoing payment business)
- Article 1 para. 2 no. 3 ZaDiG 2018 (payment business) as well as
- Article 1 para. 2 no. 5 ZaDiG 2018 (issuing and acquiring).
