Insurance companies: content on supervisory disclosure updated

The objective of supervisory disclosure is to facilitate a uniform standard of transparency and responsibility of supervisory authorities. The Insurance Supervision Act 2016 (VAG 2016; Versicherungsaufsichtsgesetz 2016) as well as Implementing Regulation (EU) 2015/2451 set out the FMA’s disclosure obligations regarding insurance undertakings.

Publicised information should be easily accessible and comparable. The information on the FMA website about insurance undertakings is updated regularly. The latest update relates to updated specific quantitative data about insurance companies’ business at individual enterprise level (Template A).
