The sixth edition of the Austrian Financial Market Authority (FMA) series Let’s talk about supervision (Reden wir über Aufsicht) once again relates to DORA, this time addressomg the issue of “ICT service providers: obtaining an overview from the DORA Register of Information”. The resilience of ICT third-party service providers is decisive for the financial sector’s operational resilience. New dependencies and risks, such as concentration risks arise from them. It is therefore necessary for the supervisor and the supervised entities to have a clear overview. The Register of Information creates such an overview under DORA, by containing a list of all contracts with ICT third-party service providers. This plays a decisive roll in improving digital security and the oversight of financial undertakings.
