Attention! The FMA warns investors against concluding transactions with:
NOV BANK or NOV-BANK
with its registered address apparently in Celle in Germany
This provider is not authorised to carry out banking transactions in Austria that require a licence. The provider is therefore neither permitted to receive funds from other parties as deposits (Article 1 para. 1 no. 1 2nd case BWG) nor to provide non-cash payment transactions, clearing services and current account services for other parties (Article 1 para. 1 no. 2 BWG) nor to conclude money-lending agreements and the granting of monetary loans (Article 1 para. 1 no. 3 BWG) nor the issuance and administration of payment instruments such as credit cards (Article 1 para. 1 no. 6 BWG).
The basis for this publication is Article 4 para. 7 of the Austrian Banking Act (BWG; Bankwesengesetz) and was also published in the “Amtsblatt zur Wiener Zeitung” (The Official Gazette of the Wiener Zeitung) on 10.09.2021.
