Assurant General Insurance Limited with its registered office at Emerald Buildings, Westmere Drive, Crewe, Cheshire, CW1 6UN, UK and London General Insurance Company Limited with its registered office at Twenty Kingston Road, Kingston Road, Staines-Upon-Thames, Surrey, England TW18 4LG, United Kingdom, have transferred parts of their non-life insurance portfolios to Assurant Europe Insurance N.V. with its registered office at Paasheuvelweg 1, 1105 BE Amsterdam, Netherlands. The portfolio transfer became effective on 02.11.2020.
According to information received from the British supervisory authority, this also includes policies held by policyholders or insured persons in Austria.
A termination right exists for insurance policy holders pursuant to Article 31 para. 2 of the Insurance Supervision Act 2016 (VAG 2016; Versicherungsaufsichtsgesetz 2016).
