AXA ART Versicherung AG with its registered office at Sitz Colonia-Allee 10-20, 51067 Köln, Germany, intends to transfer its entire non-life insurance portfolio by way of a merger to XL Insurance Company SE with its registered Office at XL House, 8 St. Stephen’s Green, Dublin 2, Ireland.
Following information from the German supervisory authority, contracts with insurance policyholders in Austria are also affected.
Pursuant to Article 31 para. 4 of the Insurance Supervision Act 2016 (VAG 2016; Versicherungsaufsichtsgesetz 2016), in the event of a merger insurance policyholders do not have a Termination right.
