Europ Assistance Versicherungs-AG with its registered office at Adenauerring 9, 81737 München, Germany, intends to transfer its entire non-life insurance Portfolio by way of a merger to Europ Assistance S.A. with its registered office at 1 Promenade de la Bonnette, 92230 Gennevilliers, France.
According to information received from the German supervisory authority contracts with insurance policyholders in Austria are affected. Pursuant to Article 31 para. 4 of the Insurance Supervision Act 2016 (VAG 2016) no termination right exists for insurance policyholders in the case of portfolio transfers by way of universal succession.
