There are currently an increasing number of cases of fraudulent communications and/or requests for payments being sent by unknown persons to Austrian companies using a forged FMA letterhead. It is the clear intention of the unknown sender that either they or a third party should profit by fraudulent means.
The FMA therefore requests that any persons or companies who have been sent such falsified documents should report and submit them directly to the FMA (E-mail: [email protected]) and the Federal Ministry of the Interior to the Criminal Intelligence Service Austria – SPOC, Josef-Holaubek-Platz 1, 1090 Vienna (E-Mail: [email protected]).
