The Makrobericht 2025 zur Lage der betrieblichen Vorsorgekassen (BVK) (2025 Macro Report on the state of Corporate Provision Companies) offers current thematic analysis of the Austrian corporate provision companies sector. It focuses on economic, technological, legal and climate change-related developments as well as their impacts on the risk situation and supervisory practice.
The report does not reflect the annual financial statements, but the current status, taking into account analyses, stress tests and supervisory priorities for 2025. Where relevant, data with a cut-off point of 30.09.2025 has been used.
The report’s objective is to
- identify influencing factors in terms of supervision at an early stage,
- increase transparency about complex developments in the corporate provision companies sector, and
- enable a structured comparative and market analysis for the interested public.
