Real estate investment fund management companies

A real estate investment fund management company (ImmoKAG) is a credit institution, which is authorised to manage real estate funds pursuant to Article 1 para. 1 no. 13a BWG. Real estate and special real estate investment funds are subject to the provisions of the Real Estate Investment Fund Act (ImmoInvFG) as well as those in the Alternative Investment Fund Managers Act (AIFMG) since real estate funds are considered to be alternative investment funds (AIFs) .
