In cases where a sanction is imposed which has been set as a result of an infringement against Article 98 para. 1 of the Bankwesengesetz (BWG; Banking Act), pursuant to Article 22c no 2 of the Finanzmarktaufsichtsbehördengesetz (FMABG; Financial Market Authority Act) the Austrian Financial Market Authority (FMA) may provide information on or make public the names of those companies for which persons are responsible upon whom sanctions have been imposed and the sanction that has been imposed.

By publication in the official gazette “Amtsblatt zur Wiener Zeitung” of 13 April 2011, the FMA informs, that

has been ordered through an administrative decision issued on 31 March 2011 to refrain from unlawful brokering of credit transactions. This also incorporates refraining from offering these services, especially on the website www.liqua at.
