Aviabel SA/NV with its registered office at 54, Avenue Louise, 1050 Brussels, Belgium, has transferred its entire non-life insurance policy to AXIS Speciality Europe SE with its registered address in Mount Herbert Court, 34 Upper Mount Street, Dublin 2, Ireland by means of a merger. The portfolio transfer becomes effective as of 01.01.2019.
According to information from the Belgian supervisory authority contractes held by policyholders or insured persons in Austria are also affected.
Where universal succession exists, termination rights do not exist for policyholders pursuant to Article 31 para. 4 of the Insurance Supervision Act 2016 (VAG 2016; Versicherungsaufsichtsgesetz 2016).
