The approval of the registration granted by means of an administrative decision by the Austrian Financial Market Authority (FMA) dated 27.04.2020 for Dos Coinway GmbH (Commercial Register (Firmenbuch) no. FN 464631 g), with its registered office at Sandgrubenstraße 3/1, 8073 Seiersberg, as a virtual asset services provider pursuant to Article 32a para. 1 of the Financial Markets Anti-Money Laundering Act (FM-GwG; Finanzmarkt-Geldwäschegesetz), and which provides services to safeguard private cryptographic keys, to hold, store and transfer virtual currencies on behalf of a customer (Article 2 no. 22 lit. a FM-GwG) as well as the exchanging of virtual currencies into fiat currencies and vice versa (Article 2 no. 22 lit. b FM-GwG), was relinquished by means of an administrative decision by the Austrian Financial Market Authority (FMA) dated 17.01.2022.
The relinquishing of the registration occurred at the request of Dos Coinway GmbH. The entity is therefore prohibited from providing services to safeguard private cryptographic keys, to hold, store and transfer virtual currencies on behalf of a customer, as well as to exchange virtual currencies into fiat currencies and vice versa, or to conduct transactions using vending machines.
