Portfolio Transfers and Mergers of Undertakings under the Insurance Holding Company Zilveren Kruis Achmea (The Netherlands)

1) Zilveren Kruis Ziektekostenverzekeringen N.V. was merged into Zilveren Kruis Zorgverzekeringen N.V.;

2) Zilveren Kruis Zorgverzekeringen N.V. was merged into Achmea Zorgverzekeringen N.V.;

3) Achmea Zorgverzekeringen N.V. has transferred its entire portfolio in the insurance class 2 (sickness) to OZF Zorgverzekeringen N.V. (renamed Zilveren Kruis Zorgverzekeringen N.V.), and the portfolio also contains risks from alternatives to statutory social insurance;

4) OZF Zorgverzekeringen N.V. (renamed Zilveren Kruis Zorgverzekeringen N.V.) has transferred its entire portfolio for insurance class 2 (sickness) to Achmea Zorgverzekeringen N.V.

According to a response by the Dutch supervisory authority dated 25.02.2021, the portfolio transfers became effective as of 30.12.2017.

According to information received from the Dutch supervisory authority, this also includes policies held by policyholders or insured persons in Austria. With regarding to the portfolio transfers, policyholders are reminded about the existence of a general termination right for insurance contracts pursuant to Article 31 para. 2 of the Insurance Supervision Act 2016 (VAG 2016; Versicherungsaufsichtsgesetz 2016).
