Helmut Ettl, Executive Director of the Austrian Financial Market Authority (FMA), has been appointed for a one-year term with effect from 1 April 2019 as a member of the Steering Committee (SC) of the Single Supervisory Mechanism (SSM) for European Banking Supervision. The Steering Committee supports the decision-making committee (the Supervisory Board) in its work, as well as coordinating the issues to be addressed by the Supervisory Board and its meetings.
