The FMA has been publishing its analysis on the foreign insurance business written by Austrian insurance groups since 2016.
The analysis is linked, due to the geographic investment focus of Austrian insurance groups, strongly with the CESEE -region. The following aspects are considered within the analysis:
- Makroeconomic framework of the region and individual countries
- Developments regarding the local insurance markets
- Performance of Austrian Groups within those markets
The Results of the analysis, constitute a material input in the steering of international supervisory activities of FMA .
