FMA revokes banking licence of Alizee Bank AG

Release Date: |
Categories:

The Austrian Financial Market Authority FMA issued an administrative decision to Alizee Bank AG revoking as of 21 November 2012 the bank’s licence to conduct banking transactions. The official investigations had resulted in the finding that certain owners of the bank did not fulfil the legal requirements pertaining to personal reliability. The bank was also unable to provide evidence of a sustainable business model.

Since other official measures were ineffective in ensuring the bank’s ability to function properly, it was necessary to revoke the licence.
