The Austrian Financial Market Authority (FMA) hereby draws attention to the new deadlines that apply for publishing of Directors’ Dealings notifications for issuers. Regulation (EU) 2019/2115 of 27 November 2019 inter alia amends Article 19(3) subpara. 1 of the MAR as follows: “The issuer or emission allowance market participant shall make public the information contained in a notification referred to in paragraph 1 within two business days of receipt of such a notification.” This new arrangement applies since 1 January 2021. The deadline for notification of the directors as well as persons closely associated with them to the issuer and the FMA of three business days at the latest pursuant to Article 19(1) MAR remains unchanged.
