The FMA informs that the undertakings Abacus Insurance Company Limited, Greystones Insurance and Quanta Europe Limited are not authorised to conclude insurance business transactions. The aforementioned undertakings were previously authorised in Ireland, but were respectively dissolved in 2003 and 2009. According to a warning issued by the Irish supervisory authority the company names are now being misused for fraudulent transactions.
