W.R. Berkley Europe AG has merged with W.R. Berkley Insurance (Europe) SE. Both undertakings have their registered office at Städtle 35a, 9490 Vaduz, Liechtenstein. The portfolio transfer became effective on 01.03.2019. As a consequence of the merger W.R. Berkley Insurance (Europe) SE has been removed from the register.
According to information from the supervisory authority in Liechtenstein, contracts with insurance policyholders or insured persons in Austria were also affected.
Pursuant to Article 31 para. 4 VAG 2016 there is no termination right available to policy holders, since the merger is by way of universal succession.
